The Fairmont Olympic's Mother's Day brunch exceeded our expectations in every way! From the exquisite cheeses at the buffet to the delightful Mountlake Terrace High School band, every detail was impeccable. The waitstaff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and personable, adding to the overall warm ambiance. The buffet presented an impressive array of options that catered to every taste and craving. From the rich and creamy eggs cocotte varieties to the savory delights of roasted chicken, salmon, ham, and braised beef at the hot food bar, there was a wealth of choices to explore. Additionally, the freshly shucked oysters, shrimp cocktails, and delicate lox added a touch of indulgence to the spread. Not to mention, the traditional breakfast staples like fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and hearty sausages were all expertly prepared. The variety was extensive, ensuring that there was something delightful for everyone, making our dining experience truly memorable. One highlight was the opportunity to create a bouquet and capture a special moment with it at the photobooth. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby, and the rooms were nice too! Had all the proper amenities I’d expect from a nice hotel like this. Was perfect for a business trip. They did have to shut off the power in the middle of the night, but I don’t think it was something they could avoid, and it was a nice touch for them to bring us extra water and a flashlight and glow stick to show they cared and were sorry about the inconvenience

I'd been unsure about staying at the Fairmont after reading some of the reviews. After my usual hotel was out of policy for a work trip, I took a gamble on the hotel and was in no way disappointed. I needn't have worried about the stated swimming pool hours - 8am to 9pm - as reception was always willing to have it opened early upon request. The lobby and bar area was beautiful; the room was spacious and comfortable; interactions with the team always positive. This has become my new #1 in Seattle.

We could not be more thrilled to be your #1 hotel in Seattle and will look forward to your next stay with us. We are here to accommodate our guests and thank you for the acknowledgement of that. We also would like to thank you for choosing to stay with us!

Great common spaces, everything else is a disappointment

Though I never stayed here before, I always assumed the Fairmont was a really nice hotel. It is not. The rooms are outdated and in decay. There was a giant temporary air conditioning unit outside my door (see photo), complete with an extension cord duct taped across the threshold of my door. The plumbing is in terrible shape, thus giving me inconsistent/low pressure in the shower. The valet car people are severely understaffed. When I first arrived, they wasn't even someone present to take my car. Then, two days in a row I called for my car and they had not yet retrieved it after 15 minutes. Even the staff admits things are not what they once were. Please get your act together. This is no longer the pandemic where you can do less and charge more.

We too are disappointed to hear of your poor experience. This is not typical of a stay at our hotel and would like to work with you to ensure this not be your lasting impression of the Olympic. If you would be so kind as to contact our Executive Office directly at your earliest convenience it would be appreciated. Please accept our sincere apologies.

I stayed at Fairmont for a few days when my son got married there in April. Impressed with its services from valet parking, front desk to restaurants. The valet parking staff are professional and efficient. The front desk staff are warm and thoughtful. The restaurants are so honest and more than fair. My friends and I had dinner at Shuckers. We commented that the fish was a little overcooked. They took it off our bill even though we were happy to pay. It is a hotel that tries to provide warm and honest services...admirable qualities.

This is wonderful and congratulations to your son. We will be sure our colleagues know of your kind words for them and thank you !
